FAQ

How many people does a pig feed?

The quantity needed is based on “how” many people you are trying to feed. The general rule of thumb is 1# of pork to every serving. This ratio has proven to leaves leftovers for the customer. Example: 125 Servings = Order 125# Whole Pig

Can I (Customer) rent the pig roaster?

No. Due to Liability reasons, we do not rent it.

What if I (the customer) purchased the pig to be roast?

Due to liability issues and Health Department regulations, I will only roast a pig that has been USDA Inspected when slaughtered. It must have the USDA stamp, which has been inspected to show the product is safe for the public to consume.

What if I have less then 50 people to feed?

Since the smallest pig that I would order is ~ 80#, you would have leftovers!

OR

We do offer an option of the same great flavor and moist roasted pork by cooking a smaller quantity for you.

Basically, we order smaller parts of the pig, such as fresh hams or the shoulders.

We flavor the meat as we would the whole pig and then slow roast it. Our services then provide the carving and pulling the cooked meat into disposable pans for pick up or Delivery.

Delivery Charges would be on a individual basis.

Do we cook the pig on sight of event?

No.

Since our roaster has the capabilities to have 2 pigs cooking at the same time, we could have two pig roasts for the same day. We arrive on sight with the pig all cooked and ready to carve.
